Before They Were Famous - Craig Campbell

Before Craig Campbell became a country star with hits like ‘Family Man’ and ‘Fish,’ he worked as a prison guard at the Rogers State Prison in Reidsville, Ga. During his two-year run as a guard, he did everything from search cells and inmates, to patrol the grounds of the strictly male facility.

In addition, Campbell and his wife once owned a tanning salon, and the singer held a steady gig with Luke Bryan and Tracy Byrd before signing his first record deal. While he looked comfortable patting down inmates on GAC-TV’s ‘Day Jobs,’ he no doubt appreciates being forever outside the barbed wire fences.
